A recent issue of Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology magazine featured the Most Admired Employers list chosen by the magazine’s readers. Since 2000, the Hispanic Engineer magazine has conducted surveys with people in STEM. These surveys provide insights into how professionals view the culture of STEM companies.

“In a time where everyone is paying attention to diversity and inclusion, these companies have proven to the Hispanic and Latino audience that they are committed to corporate cultural change,” said Tyrone Taborn, CEO of Career Communications Group and publisher of Hispanic Engineer magazine. “They have fostered opportunities for people of color as well as improved upon community outreach, supplier diversity, and STEM efforts.”

The employers named to Hispanic Engineer magazine’s Most Admired Employers list include information age companies who have taken on the new developments in big data, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, robotics, and immersive multimedia to stay relevant and innovative. The list also includes newcomers who are growing rapidly in the tech revolution.

The survey responders were 65 percent of STEM professionals and 44 percent with at least ten years of experience in STEM fields. Over 30 percent of responders have attended one or more of America’s Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs).
