The Society of Professional Engineers (SHPE) has announced the dates for its National Institute for Leadership Advancement. NILA is where SHPE chapter leaders learn best practices for executing SHPE’s mission at the local level.

According to SHPE, the “Certified Chapter Leader Program” for all chapter officers will be held July 16-18 followed by the “Presidents’ Summit” on August 13-15 for regional leaders and chapter presidents.

For more information on how to be an effective SHPE chapter leader from those who have done it, gaining a better understanding of SHPE’s operations, building a network of friends, contacts, and mentors in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), please view the 2020 Recap Video and visit the SHPE events web page.
