Don’t miss this opportunity. The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) extended the scholarship application deadline once before, but August 1 is almost here. Earlier this year, HACU partnered with MillerCoors to award 15 scholarships to eligible students attending a HACU-member institution in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas, and Wisconsin.

The scholarship awards of $2,500 are open to college students in all majors.

As part of the scholarship, recipients will also attend “HACU ¡Adelante!, expected to host over 500 students during  HACU’s annual conference in Chicago. Recipients are required to attend the career development and networking institute taking place October 5-7 at the Hilton Chicago.

On Tuesday, October 8th, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities will host its Eighth Annual Deans’ Forum on Hispanic Higher Education, a post-conference event. The focus of the forum will be on equity in higher education and its impact on economic and social mobility outcomes.
