High-Tech Sunday Season 1 Episode 12 feat. Dr. Tiffany Anderson

POSTED ON Oct 31, 2020

At a time when digital information is more critical than ever, Career Communications Group (CCG) launched a podcast called High-Tech Sunday. CCG’s High-Tech Sunday showcases talent in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through the lens of spiritual philosophies. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, topics have ranged from technology to culture, career, family, and economic fallout. The podcast also looks at workforce resets.

For the twelfth episode, High-Tech Sunday features Dr. Tiffany Anderson, a licensed graduate marriage and family therapist (LGMFT). As a mental health provider and educator based in Baltimore, Maryland, she believes that personal liberation is attainable through a holistic approach.

A proud Black psychotherapist, Dr. Anderson created Crown Therapy, LLC to cultivate a light-filled community that supports mental health and spiritual growth. Dr. Anderson specializes in individuals, couples, and family therapy. Her practice dismantles generational traumas, fosters spiritual awareness, empowers one’s self-identity, interrupts pathological patterns, ignites intimate connections, and family relationships.

Dr. Anderson obtained a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Drexel University, and a doctorate in counselor education and supervision at Loyola University in Maryland. Her research includes African spirituality, racial and cultural equities, the African American female God-image, community trauma, coping and resilience, and generational pathologies.

In her spare time, Dr. Anderson likes to read self-help books, dance to oldies, sing India Arie songs like no one is watching, and host game nights for friends and family.

We cordially invite you to join us for the 12th episode of the High-Tech Sunday podcast on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 3:00 PM EST. The one-hour podcasts are streamed every Sunday. They can be accessed through the Women of Color  STEM Facebook and CCG YouTube pages, in addition to Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Podbean, and Spotify.
