POSTED ON Dec 21, 2018

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) is currently accepting applications from Latino high school students interested in learning about how the federal government works. Application Deadline is January 15, 2019.

The CHCI’s R2L® NextGen is a week-long leadership and civic engagement program for high school sophomores and juniors. The program is completely FREE of charge to all selected student participants.

During the weeks of June 23-28, 2019 and July 14-19, 2019., CHCI will bring groups of Latino high school students to Washington, D.C. to meet leaders, visit historic sites, and develop a deeper understanding of how they can affect positive change in their communities and their nation.
