Super Bowl 53 is over. All eyes on the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl. Last season, Florida International University (FIU) capped the year with a 35-32 victory over Toledo in the Bahamas Bowl to finish the season 9-4.
In a statement posted on its website, FIU says it will host its National Signing Day Celebration Show on Wednesday, Feb. 6 in the Graham Center Pit.
The event will feature legendary head coach Butch Davis discussing the 2019 signing class, with a recap of the 2018 season and preview of next year’s team, the statement said. The event will be free and open to the public.
Under Coach Davis, the Panthers have earned back-to-back bowl appearances and 17 wins in the last two years.
The FIU Panthers are set to host seven games during the 2019 football schedule, which was released last month.
