College and university presidents to discuss COVID-19 impact during HACU’s Conference

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has announced that college and university presidents will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on international education during the organization’s annual conference. According to HACU, the discussion will focus on how campuses have been dealing with the pandemic and how they envision future international education programs.

Panelists include Irma Becerra-Fernandez, Ph.D., president of Marymount University; Mike Flores, Ph.D., chancellor of Alamo Colleges District; Garnett S. Stokes, Ph.D., president of The University of New Mexico; and Emma Grace Hernández Flores, Ph.D., president of Universidad de Iberoamérica. The discussion will be moderated by Sue Henderson, Ph.D., president of New Jersey City University.

The virtual plenary will also highlight the 75th Anniversary of the Fulbright Program with a special message by the Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of State.
