The 2018 Congressional Internship Program is now open. The program enables interns to build networks that open doors before and after graduation.
During CHCI’s paid summer and semester internships, interns are placed with a member of Congress who serves a district in their home state performing meaningful work.
Through CIP, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute exposes talented young Latinos to the inner-workings of Congress, prepares them to become part of the workforce, staff positions at the highest levels of government, be role models for their communities, and take the initiative of becoming the future leaders of America.
The CHCI Alumni Association is made up of nearly 3,300 Latino professionals The 2017 class represents 11 different Hispanic ethnic backgrounds, pursuing 20 different fields of study.
