After a successful 2022, bringing back live in-person conferences and launching new initiatives and projects to better serve underrepresented communities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields, Career Communications Group (CCG) has announced moves and changes to its internal team.

“This past year was an adventurous challenge,” says Tyrone Taborn, CEO of Career Communications Group. “From bringing the Women of Color Conference back as an in-person event to expanding STEM City USA and our digital twin experience (DTX) platforms. Our mission would not be possible without the dedicated team members we have and the new talent joining us as we move into the BEYA STEM Conference season.”

CCG’s new hires and an internal title promotion are Lucille Kennedy (new hire), Chantel Clea (new hire), and Nikkie Stevens (title change).

Lucille Kennedy has been hired as the Sales Support Assistant. Lucille has been part of the CCG network for many years. She has over 20 years of experience in conference, registration, and office management.

Chantel Clea joins CCG with over 15 years of experience in event planning and brand management. Chantel’s role in the upcoming BEYA STEM Conference is to observe elements of the annual event. She will be supporting the Metaquake Symposium. Previously, Chantel helped plan events at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) for fifteen years.

Nikkie Stevens‘ title has been updated from communications and sourcing specialist to Programming Director of Metaverse Platforms.
