Boston Scientific’s CDO to speak at STEM City USA health and wellness event

Culture matters in communicating the response to COVID-19, according to commentary published in a journal sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). During STEM City USA’s “Healthy Doses” seminar scheduled for Friday, Oct. 1,  Boston Scientific’s Camille Chang Gilmore will speak on culture and COVID-19.

Camille is vice president of human resources (HR) and global chief diversity officer (CDO) at the medical device manufacturer. As CDO, she is an active member of the communities in which Boston Scientific operates and supports the advancement of diversity initiatives in healthcare.

Her responsibilities include driving diversity and inclusion strategies across Boston Scientific’s Close the Gap health equity initiative, supplier diversity, and U.S. diversity recruiting programs. She also oversees the company’s global community engagement efforts.

Friday’s “Healthy Doses” seminar will be held in the Boston Scientific Auditorium of the La Familia Wellness Center in STEM City USA from 9 am to 12 pm Eastern Standard Time.

Camille serves on several boards, including the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) Foundation, the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies, and is a liaison to the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME) organization. Camille is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
