The Institute for the International Education of Students (IES) allows you to apply for different kinds of financial aid in one application. The HACU IES Abroad Scholarship is open to students attending a Hispanic-Serving Institution that is a member of Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities (HACU). Apply by May 1st for the fall/academic year deadline and November 1st for the spring calendar deadline.

IES Abroad believes that every student should get the opportunity to go abroad in a fun, safe, and superior academic and cultural environment. To that end, they actively recruit diverse students from underrepresented populations and provide $5 million in scholarships year after year.

Click here to apply for the HACU IES Abroad Scholarship. Applications must be received and complete by midnight Central Time of the deadline date.

The David Porter Need-Based Diversity Scholarship is open to students of diverse cultural backgrounds who have been traditionally under-represented on study abroad programs. One (1) award is given each term of up to $5,000 off the IES Abroad program fee.

IES Diversity Scholarships include opportunities for first generation to college students, students from low-income families and students with a history of overcoming adversity.
