The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) has announced a raft of scholarships to help students acquire skills and training that will help them meet the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) needs of communities they serve.

The USAA Scholarship provides financial support for Native Veteran students who need to successfully complete their undergraduate STEM degrees.

AISES also offers a scholarship program in partnership with Aristocrat/VGT. Undergraduate and graduate students in a field related to casino gaming, software development, technology, supply chain, etc. are eligible to apply.

The AISES 3M Scholarship is for incoming college freshman students pursuing any STEM degree.

The A.T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship Program was established to memorialize A.T. Anderson, one of the AISES founders.

AISES has partnered with Apple to offer the Apple Scholarship Program to exceptional Indigenous college students studying in a STEM field. Selected scholars will receive a $15,000 scholarship, a MacBook, and a Development Experience. Scholars will also have the opportunity to be mentored by an Apple employee.

Administered by AISES for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation (BNSF), the scholarship is made available to American Indian high school seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher who reside in one of the 23 states serviced by the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Pacific Corporation and its affiliated companies:

The states include Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, Arkansas, Louisiana, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, Wisconsin, or Iowa.

Chevron scholarships were developed by AISES and Chevron to support the advancement of students with technical and leadership accomplishments, as well as a commitment to and passion for the energy field. The scholarship is open to both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing STEM degrees.

The AISES Environmental Science Associates (ESA) Scholarship is offered in partnership with Environmental Science Associates (ESA). Undergraduate Indigenous students pursuing a STEM or planning degree in the states of Washington, Oregon, California, or Florida are welcome and encouraged to apply. Awards are $2,000 for the academic year.

The ExxonMobil Geosciences Summer Fieldwork Scholarship offer scholarships in the amount of $3,000 to assist undergraduate, MS, and Ph.D. students in financing geosciences fieldwork and research for summer 2022.

The Intel Growing the Legacy Scholarship Program will support undergraduate and graduate students. This program includes financial support, mentorship, paid internship opportunities, and, upon successful graduation, employment opportunities with Intel. Scholarships are $5,000 for undergraduate students and $10,000 for graduate students.

GeoComply will be supporting students pursuing a degree in a Canadian or United States institution, that supports professional careers in the technology industry, including but not limited to computer and information sciences, engineering, software engineering/development, mathematics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), analytics, cybersecurity, data science, business, finance, economics, marketing, human resources, and other related fields.
