AISES is located in over 180 colleges, tribal colleges, and universities throughout North America.

The organization’s college chapters provide professional and social peer support and serve as liaisons between the AISES National Office and students.

The national organization has over 5,900 individual members and supports 230 affiliated pre-college schools, 196 chartered college and university chapters, 3 tribal chapters, and 18 professional chapters in the US and Canada.

AISES offers scholarships, internships, access to the AISES Career Hub, participation in the National American Indian Science and Engineering Fair, and the AISES Energy Challenge.

AISES believes that Native college students require professional mentorship, peer support, and scholarship assistance.

Students are most successful when they have a network of other Native students and professionals who can provide ongoing support while they pursue undergraduate and graduate studies. AISES’s programming provides this critically needed support.
