The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) has announced a new webinar focused on scholarships. The online series will be held every Friday during May. Each discussion will go over a crucial part of applying for scholarships that are currently available through AISES.
According to the schedule released by AISES, the one-hour webinars will be held on consecutive Fridays: May 14, May 21, and May 28, and they will run from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm CDT/ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm MDT.
Each segment of the series is themed to focus on undergraduate and graduate scholarships offered by various employers, including Intel Corporation, Chevron Corporation, 3M Company, Exxon Mobil Corporation, and BNSF Railway, the largest freight railroad network in North America.
According to AISES, in addition to awarding nearly $12 million and counting in academic scholarships, AISES offers internships, professional development and career resources, national and regional conferences, leadership development summits, and STEM-focused programming.
