The William Hapchuk Memorial Scholarship, awarded by the National Association of Wastewater Technicians, provides financial assistance to two individuals each year pursuing higher education in wastewater management.
To be eligible for the Hapchuk Scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in an accredited university that offers a bachelor’s degree in fields related to wastewater transport and treatment.
Acceptable fields of study include Natural and Environmental Sciences, Biological Sciences, Agricultural and Civil Engineering, and Management/Business.
Applicants must have completed at least one year of study and have a cumulative grade point average that exceeds the average GPA of their university.
The deadline for scholarship submissions is December 1, 2024.
Recipients will be announced and awarded their scholarships during the WWETT Show (Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport Show), the largest annual trade show for wastewater and environmental service professionals, at the National Association of Wastewater Technicians Association Breakfast.
