The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) has announced several scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing various science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields.

The AISES Intel Growing The Legacy Scholarship provides $5,000 per academic year for undergraduate students and $10,000 for graduate students.

Successful applicants must reapply each year for continued funding. To be eligible, students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be enrolled in any STEM degree program.

The AISES Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) Scholarship awards $5,000 per academic year to students enrolled in Washington State’s public higher education system, at either the undergraduate or graduate level.

Preference is given to veterans and active-duty military spouses.

Eligible fields of study include engineering and other high-demand degrees that support professional and technical careers in the aerospace industry.

The AISES Chevron Scholarship award provides $5,000 per academic year for high school seniors, first-year students, undergraduate sophomores, and undergraduate juniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Eligible fields of study include computer engineering, computer science, geology, geophysics, petrophysics, petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, construction management, civil engineering, industrial engineering, materials engineering/science, naval architecture, environmental engineering, and occupational health & safety.

The AISES Stellantis Scholarship Program will award three students a $20,000 scholarship over the 2024-2026 academic years.

Each student will receive $6,500 annually for up to two years, distributed in two installments per year (fall and spring terms), as well as a $7,000 allotment for mechanical tools.

Applicants must be AISES members and enrolled in a college that offers a Mopar Career Automotive Program (CAP), which provides classroom and hands-on automotive training.

The AISES Polaris Academic Scholarship awards $4,000 per academic year. Priority is given to undergraduate freshmen and sophomores with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in mechanical engineering, digital and information technology, manufacturing and supply chain, human resources, sales and marketing, and finance.

The AISES RISE $2,000 scholarship is available to undergraduate first- or second-year students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Eligible fields of study include game design, cyber security, game development, interactive media design, digital arts, management information systems, network/system administration, statistics, and supply chain.

Other scholarships prioritize students who have participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition, FIRST Tech Challenge, or FIRST LEGO League for one or more seasons.

To apply for the AISES Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Foundation Scholarship, students must reside in one of the 23 states serviced by the BNSF Pacific Corporation and its affiliated companies. Eligible fields of study include business, economics, communications, technology, construction trades, agriculture, supply chain, and industrial engineering.
