According to the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), financial need is the main reason why Hispanic students do not complete a bachelor’s degree. Last year, the organization offered more than 170 scholarships that totaled over $629,000. This year, SHPE scholarships open on February 1, 2021, and are due on April 30, 2021.
