This collaboration with North America’s premier online gaming company includes specific support for the Resources for Indigenous STEM Education (RISE) Program, which aims to encourage STEM careers in the rapidly evolving gaming industry.
The support from FanDuel will provide travel assistance for students, professionals, and AISES members attending key events in the gaming sector.
Additionally, it offers financial aid for students interested in pursuing careers in casino gaming, collaboration with industry leaders to provide insights into STEM roles in gaming, and mentorship opportunities to enhance networking within the industry.
Recognized as the leading company in U.S. online sports betting, FanDuel employs over 3,500 staff members and is a subsidiary of Flutter, a global gaming company with various brands worldwide.
National and industry leaders view this partnership as a significant opportunity for job creation and workforce development in STEM fields across Indigenous communities.
