The United States Hispanic Leadership Institute has announced that the 2025 SLS launch will take place on Thursday, February 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk in Chicago, Illinois.

The SLS program inspires students to stay in school, excel academically, graduate from college, and pursue further education or training.

This initiative plays a vital role in USHL’s mission to cultivate a culture of education, highlighting the significance of academic achievement in every Latino household.

Last year, over 2,500 students from 63 high schools in six states joined the 2024 SLS launch in Chicago alongside recruiters from 55 colleges, universities, and vocational schools.

USHL encourages high school teachers, counselors, and administrators to participate in the nationwide informative career and college recruitment fair. According to the USHL website, prominent motivational speakers eager to share their insights will energize attendees.
