The National Student Leadership Conference is still accepting applications for its summer programs. Whether you’re considering a career as an engineer or entrepreneur, you can gain real-world experience, learn from professionals, and develop leadership skills that prepare you for the future through NSLC programs featuring immersive, hands-on simulations.

The Army ROTC has announced that it will be present at the Latino College Expo and Leadership Conference on Saturday, March 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Borough of Manhattan Community College. Two events during the day-long session include a leadership summit and the college expo.

The ROTC, or Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, is a program that prepares college students for service in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Space Force, offering leadership training, scholarship opportunities, and the chance to become commissioned officers upon graduation.

The 32nd Edition of the Latino College Expo is a fantastic opportunity for students and parents to engage with college access professionals who will illuminate the college admissions process, financial aid options, leadership opportunities, and more.

Since its inception in 1990, the Latino College Expo has been a valuable partner in supporting our local families and strengthening our communities.

Kicking off at 9:30 a.m., the Leadership Summit will feature an inspiring keynote address, followed by interactive breakout sessions starting at 10:00 a.m.

From noon onward, LCE invites you to explore the college expo for two and a half hours, where you’ll meet representatives from various colleges, community organizations, and financial aid experts, all ready to answer your questions at the “Ask the Counselor” tables.
