With support from Google.org, an AISES scholarship program aims to impact communities and future generations. The scholarship awards $2,000 for undergraduate students and $3,000 for graduate students.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a robotics community that prepares young people for the future through inclusive, team-based robotics programs for ages 4-18 (PreK-12).
These programs can be facilitated in schools or through structured after-school activities.
Supported by a global network of volunteers, educators, and sponsors—including over 200 Fortune 500 companies—teams operate under a signature set of FIRST Core Values.
Participants conduct research, fundraise, design, build, and showcase their achievements during annual challenges.
Those who participate in or have graduated from FIRST programs gain access to educational and career discovery opportunities, connections to exclusive scholarships and employers, and a lifelong place in the FIRST community.
Priority for the FIRST x AISES Scholarship will be given to students who have participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition, FIRST Tech Challenge, or FIRST LEGO League for one or more seasons, as well as to previous awardees.
