The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has announced a partnership with LanguageCert to offer $5,000 LanguageCert International Student Scholarships to eligible international freshman undergraduate students of all majors. The deadline is May 1, 2025.
HACU has also announced the recipients of the Chispa Scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year. Five students from HACU-member institutions will each receive a $2,000 scholarship.
The recipients attend Montclair State University, Montgomery College, Northeastern Illinois University, the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez.
The Chispa Scholarships are part of the HACU Scholarship Program for 2024-25. This program offers various scholarships to help students cover tuition, fees, books, and other expenses.
New scholarships are added throughout the academic year, so check back regularly for updates.
To be eligible for HACU Scholarships, applicants must be currently enrolled at a HACU-member institution, have graduated from a high school or earned a high school equivalency diploma in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or elsewhere, have completed their first semester of college at a HACU-member institution, and plan to enroll at a HACU-member institution in the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.
