There are various scholarship programs available for American Indian, Alaska Native, and Hispanic students to support their education.

The American Indian College Fund offers scholarships for those enrolled in two-year or four-year institutions, including Tribal Colleges and Universities.

The Native Forward Scholars Fund is the largest scholarship provider to Native students in the U.S. and awards $15 million in scholarships every year.

The National Indian Education Association scholarship is awarded to one student who seeks to enter or enhance a teacher education degree.

American Indian Services provides scholarships for Native American students to attend over 400 accredited colleges, universities, and trade schools.

For Hispanic students, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has partnered with various organizations to offer scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students at HACU-member institutions.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund selects 10,000 outstanding students as HSF Scholars from a broad pool of talented applicants every year and awards more than $30 million in scholarships.

HSF Scholars may also be eligible to receive a scholarship of up to $5,000 based on merit.

Similarly, the Hispanic Scholars Consortium offers scholarship opportunities, including the Science Ambassador Scholarship, the American Meteorological Society (AMS) Scholarship for Underserved Communities, and the EPP/MSI Undergraduate Scholarship Program managed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The Great Minds in STEM (GMiS) scholarship portal is available for students enrolled in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) undergraduate or graduate program. The application for the GMiS STEM Scholarship is usually open until April 30.

The McDonald’s HACER® National Scholarship is committed to providing college scholarships and resources for Hispanics, allowing students to receive up to $100,000 for their education. Since 1985, the program has awarded more than $33 million in scholarships to over 17,000 students.
