POSTED ON Apr 17, 2021

April 19-23 is US Climate Action Week, and a series of events and discussions are taking place during the week of the Leaders’ Summit on Climate being hosted by the Biden Administration. To that end, Career Communications Group is joining the network of 300 multinational businesses to host a panel discussion on how we can begin to prepare our communities to “Stand Up, Step Up, and Make the Change” for a better, cleaner, and safer tomorrow.

Join Career Communications Group (CCG) for a wide-ranging discussion on how we can begin to prepare our communities to address the climate crisis with science and technology leading the way. Let us stand up, step up, and make the change for a better, cleaner, and safer tomorrow.

The Preparing Our Communities to Address the Climate Crisis, Science Leads the Way panel hosted by CCG will be held on April 20 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm EST.

The moderator is Anthony Kinslow II, founder and CEO of Gemini Energy Solutions. Gemini’s mission is to facilitate the implementation of energy efficiency measures in commercial buildings under 25,000 square feet, promote energy efficiency changes by engaging, educating, and energizing people, increase participation of women, people of color, and rural areas in the energy efficiency profession by removing barriers.

The speakers include:

Brig. Gen. David Turner, who retired from active duty in 2014. As the South Atlantic Division commander, Gen. Turner oversaw the planning and construction of projects to support the military, protect America’s water resources, and enhance the environment within a 250,000 square mile area.

Dana Clare Redden is the founding CEO of Solar Stewards,  which combines both environmental and social attributes to help private-sector leaders make strategic clean energy commitments that also directly benefit traditionally marginalized communities.

Dr. Regan Patterson, an environmental engineer, environmental justice researcher, and policy strategist at Regan Patterson Consulting,
provides consulting, expert witness, and mentorship services to a  range of organizations and scholars working to achieve environmental justice.
