The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is marking its 50th anniversary this year and has planned some exciting events for this fall.
Before the main conference, the group will host its 50th Anniversary SHPE Fiesta on August 22 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This event will feature music, dance, and food, and aims to bring together SHPE members, industry leaders, and potential mentors who are passionate about success.
The celebration will honor 50 years of SHPE’s commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM.
Additionally, SHPE’s pre-college program will organize a FREE Virtual STEM lab on August 21 and 22, sponsored by 3M, a multinational conglomerate active in industry, worker safety, healthcare, and consumer goods.
This virtual event is open to all K-12 students and offers interactive STEM activities to explore career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
