Last month, regional leaders of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Alumni Association went to Washington D.C. for their annual retreat to network with CHCI board members, CHCI advisory council, sponsors, and young professionals.

During March, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute hosted the 2018 CHCI Energy Summit – A World In Transition at the Newseum. Discussions focused on the evolving trends in the energy sector, as well as challenges and opportunities ahead for innovation and collaboration.

The day-long summit convened over 200 guests including, CHCI President & CEO Domenika Lynch and Vice-Chair Cristina Antelo with CHCI alumni at the 2018 Energy Summit.

Also at the event were Members of Congress, Fortune 500 executives, energy experts, and emerging leaders for high-level discussions on the critical need to invest and train Latino talent and the next generation of energy experts.

Last week, @chcid announced a new generation of Latino leaders on Instagram:

“We are proud to celebrate and support this passionate group of young Latinos as they embark on their next leadership journey! #CHCI #EmergingLeaders,” the statement said.

On April 27, CHCI Fellows had the opportunity to visit 3M’s social innovation center to learn more about strides 3m is making in the healthcare, safety/graphics, industrial, electronics/ energy and consumer markets, CHCI said.
