The Latino Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Alliance has announced a new online after-school program. According to the nonprofit based in Massachusetts, the distance learning club will serve students in grades 5 through 12. The course is slated to start on January 4th, 2021, and end on May 30th.
The interactive class will help students explore each aspect of robotics through coding, simulation, and 3D modeling. The website states that the online class is a 20-week program comprising 60-minute lessons, taught by STEM instructor Administrators and teachers.
Students may join classes on Monday or Wednesday (4-5 PM) via Zoom.
Latino STEM Alliance runs during school and afterschool science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) enrichment programs for early elementary through high school students in Massachusetts. LSA’s mission is to inspire and empower underserved youth to pursue academic and career success in STEM fields by providing meaningful and engaging opportunities.
