On March 27, join SHPE for a panel discussion featuring faculty members who review graduate applications.

You will hear their advice on the top three tips for completing your application, experiences to gain before applying, how to choose a graduate program, and common mistakes in the application process.

Take the next step in your science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) journey by presenting your research at one of the largest multidisciplinary STEM conferences.

Accepted applicants will have the opportunity to refine their presentation skills, receive one-on-one mentoring and feedback, and connect with a supportive community of peers, mentors, and role models.

To apply, you must be a current SANAS student-level member. By fall 2025, you should be an undergraduate student enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university, interested in pursuing higher education in STEM, or a graduate student enrolled in a STEM program.

The deadline to apply is March 28. Don’t miss your chance to receive funding to attend NDiSTEM, the nation’s largest multidisciplinary STEM conference.

Karolina Wielowski, a chemistry student at the College of New Jersey, stated that thanks to the SACNAS Travel Scholarship, she was able to engage in meaningful scientific dialogue and make valuable connections as she approached the end of her undergraduate journey.

SACNAS emphasizes that new experiences and perspectives enhance the ability to grow into the scientists students aspire to become.
