Over 600 students participated in the Texas A&M University-San Antonio graduation ceremony

Before the commencement exercises, Texas A&M University-San Antonio posted a video on social media offering tips for students on how to wear their graduation attire.

The Class of 2024 showcased inspiring, humorous, and meaningful messages on their graduation caps.

Over 600 students participated in the Texas A&M University-San Antonio graduation ceremony on May 13 at the Freeman Coliseum.

The event featured special videos of students expressing gratitude to those who supported them throughout their academic journey.

University President Salvador Hector Ochoa encouraged the graduates to continue supporting others and to never accept limitations imposed by others.

The ceremony concluded with a glow-in-the-dark party featuring a light show and music.

Texas A&M University-San Antonio offers 39 undergraduate and 23 graduate degrees to approximately 7,620 students.

The university is home to various institutes and centers, including the Henry G. Cisneros Institute for Emerging Leaders, the Cyber Engineering Technology/Cyber Security Research Center, and the Mays Center for Experiential Learning and Community Engagement.

The university is designated as a Hispanic-Serving Institution and has received the Seal of Excelencia certification from Excelencia in Education for its support of Latino student success.

More than 77% of A&M-SA students identify as Hispanic, and about 72% are first-generation college students.
