Texas A&M-Kingsville has received a national ranking for its masters-level online industrial engineering program from the College Choice dot net web site.

The online industrial engineering master’s program, which is part of the College of Engineering at Texas A&M-Kingsville, was ranked sixth in the nation among the Most Affordable Online Masters in Industrial Engineering Degrees for 2018.

To come up with its list, College Choice used data from the National Center for Education Statistics’ IPEDS database, Payscale, the U.S. News & World Report, and individual college websites.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there were 257,900 people with this job title in 2016 and the field is projected to grow about 10 percent through 2026.
