In celebration of its 50th anniversary year, Microsoft launched several initiatives to empower every student and educator to achieve more with the best of Microsoft tips and resources for education.

The Microsoft AI Skills Fest kicked off earlier this month and continues through May 28, with hackathons, live and virtual training, self-paced tutorials, on-demand sessions, community events, Microsoft Learn Challenges, and more.

If you are a student interested in artificial intelligence (AI), now is the perfect time to explore the AI landscape with the 50-day Microsoft AI Skills Fest. This event aims to enhance your skills in cutting-edge AI topics and allows you to compete with learners from around the globe.

From now until May 28, 2025, you can experience Fantastic Fairgrounds, an immersive Minecraft Education experience designed to build a solid foundation in AI literacy for learners aged eight and older. This single-player map is part of a broader AI literacy progression.

To make the most of your experience, Microsoft has created a festival map that serves as your ultimate guide to navigating the event, highlighting all the exciting zones and activities available.

Tech professionals will have the chance to deepen their expertise through curated experiences and master the skills needed to create AI agents.

You will explore how to build AI-driven agents using Azure AI Foundry and GitHub Copilot, learn how to integrate them into your applications, and apply advanced model fine-tuning techniques.

Business professionals can leverage AI through Microsoft and LinkedIn, with managers at all organizational levels discovering practical ways to enhance their effectiveness using generative AI. Completing this content can lead to earning a professional certificate.

Additionally, the AI for Public Sector Upskilling Challenge empowers public servants with AI skills to improve efficiency, decision-making, and service delivery.

Participants will learn how to utilize generative AI in the public sector, understand responsible AI principles, and explore modern security operations to harness AI’s transformative capabilities.

Don’t miss out on certification discounts and showcase your AI skills through Microsoft, partner organizations, and GitHub certification offers.

You can discover significant discounts and win one of 50,000 free exam vouchers. Content from Microsoft Training Services Partners will also be available, offering specialized workshops and resources designed to help participants enhance their AI skills during the AI Skills Fest.
