The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley celebrated over 3,200 graduates during the Spring 2025 Commencement held at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg.
The commencement consisted of four ceremonies, during which graduates from various colleges across the university walked across the stage.
This year also marked UTRGV’s 10th anniversary.
The Spring 2025 Commencement ceremonies honored graduates from several colleges, including the College of Education and P-16 Integration, the UTRGV School of Nursing, the College of Fine Arts, the College of Health Professions, and the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
UTRGV extended a special acknowledgment to its military veteran graduates for their service and sacrifice.
Additionally, a significant milestone was reached for UTRGV’s Mathematics and Science Academy (MSA).
The MSA Class of 2025 took great pride in participating in their first-ever independent commencement ceremony at the Harlingen Performing Arts Conservatory on Sunday, May 18.
During this event, 117 outstanding students donned new regalia in white, gray, and Vaquero orange, celebrating not only their high school graduation but also the completion of over 60 college credit hours.
