Are you searching for internship opportunities? University counselors, internships, and college achievement plans are essential for student success.

On May 3, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities hosted undergraduate and graduate students at an in-person Emerging Leaders’ Summit, in partnership with San Jose State University.

The one-day summit included career development workshops focused on securing internships and provided students with the opportunity to meet with corporate and federal employers.

The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Minority Serving Institutions Internship Program is holding University Career Centers/Faculty Staff Webinars on July 25, 2024. Students can learn more about the program from the NNSA-MSIIP program team. Click here for more information.

In addition, the U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities Coalition offers internships to undergraduate and graduate students to work on projects promoting clean vehicle technologies. Internship applications are open for the Fall 2024 internship with Clean Cities and Communities Accelerate.  Click here to apply by Aug. 4, 2024.

The Idaho National Laboratory also offers internships to undergraduate and graduate students. In 2022, INL hosted 511 interns from 150 colleges and universities annually. Click here  for more information.

The U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science manages the Community College Internships program, providing training at 16 participating laboratories for community college students planning to enter a technical career. Applications for the CCI program are solicited annually, and internships are ten weeks long for the fall and spring terms.  Click here for more information.

If you are interested in studying extreme temperatures, pressures, and environments, consider applying for internships at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
