Microsoft has announced the judges for the semifinal round of the 2025 Imagine Cup World Championship. The panel includes experts in AI, Natural Language Processing, and machine learning, as well as a cloud advocate and a director who guides startups in using AI.

The Imagine Cup is a global competition for student founders leveraging AI to drive innovation.

The top three teams will compete for a $100,000 grand prize and a mentorship session with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, while the two runner-up teams will each receive $25,000.

The competition started with an optional Idea round, where teams submitted a Lean Canvas outlining their startup ideas.

The top five teams earned mentorship sessions with industry experts, receiving valuable feedback. Judges will evaluate live pitches and engage in Q&A sessions, offering startups critical insights into their business models and scaling strategies.
