This week, students from educational institutions across the country are participating in a five-day immersion experience at the Capital One Headquarters in Virginia, taking place from July 7 to 11.

The 2025 Launchpad: Legacy & Leadership Program aims to equip 100 high-achieving students with the personal, professional, and technical skills necessary to excel in competitive industries.

These students have been brought together by the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.

They will work closely with designated mentors from Capital One, who will guide them in preparing for a final capstone presentation to conclude the week’s activities.

Participants will also have the opportunity to network with Capital One recruiters, associates, and current interns, as well as attend fireside chats with Capital One executives.

HACU is the only national educational association representing Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs).

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund is dedicated to transforming lives at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Predominantly Black Institutions, and Historically Black Community Colleges.

They achieve this through scholarships, capacity-building initiatives, connections to top employers, hands-on learning opportunities, and direct mentorship from professionals.

Having an intelligent chatbot is crucial for engaging candidates as it provides instant, personalized responses, enhancing the application experience and streamlining the recruitment process, according to the State of Candidate Experience: 2025 Benchmarks Report.

Job seekers believe an intelligent chatbot is crucial for engaging candidates, as it provides instant, personalized responses that enhance the application experience and streamline the recruitment process. But did you know that the majority of Fortune 500 companies do not leverage one?

The Phenom State of High-Volume Hiring: 2025 benchmark report analyzed 101 companies on their use of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation technology to hire frontline, hourly, seasonal, and high-turnover roles.

While many in retail, hospitality and travel, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and transportation and distribution have started implementing AI and automation to attract and hire best-fit candidates efficiently, the audit revealed only 32% demonstrated widespread adoption.

The High-Volume Hiring report explored the impact of AI and automation in modernizing recruitment efforts, reducing friction in the hiring process, attracting higher-quality talent, and ultimately achieving greater operational efficiency.
