The American Indian College Fund has announced that the 5th Annual TCU Fair is hosting a live event this week to showcase the features of tribal colleges and universities. The College Fund aims to promote opportunities and highlight the significance of these institutions throughout Indian Country.
Tribal colleges are unique educational establishments that provide academic excellence, enabling students to earn advanced degrees while honoring Native American history, culture, and languages.
The College Readiness Program, which took place on November 6, included a live event focused on showcasing the features of tribal colleges and universities.
Day two of the TCU Fair will emphasize the various opportunities available to students at these institutions.
According to the College Fund, the event is a chance to get a deep look at unique programs, cultures, and communities at tribal colleges and universities (TCUs).
You will hear directly from these TCUs, College Fund Ambassadors, and connect with faculty and College Fund staff to help you find the right school.
Additionally, the College Fund oversees a diverse range of scholarship programs, and students at tribal colleges and universities are eligible for all of these opportunities.
Applicants are only required to submit one application each year in order to be considered. Award amounts vary but typically range from $2,000 to $3,000.
