July 17, 2025, marks the official 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort. Disneyland Park is set to introduce exciting new tributes to its history and a hopeful vision for the future.
One of the highlights will be “Walt Disney – A Magical Life,” a cinematic presentation that showcases Walt Disney’s journey and culminates in a visit to his office, brought to life through captivating Audio-Animatronics storytelling.
Since its opening on July 17, 1955, Disneyland has revolutionized family entertainment by blending creativity, technology, and innovation to elevate the storytelling experience.
The 70th Anniversary Celebration began on May 16, 2025. Over its remarkable 70-year history, Disneyland Resort has expanded to include two theme parks, three hotels, and the Downtown Disney District.
The entire resort is adorned with vibrant blue, magenta, and purple decor featuring golden accents, including a medallion on Sleeping Beauty Castle. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and some of their friends are dressed in custom outfits in Town Square at Disneyland Park. The celebration also includes more than 70 new themed food and beverage offerings.
In addition to the special anniversary events, guests can enjoy the newly opened water attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, along with a variety of new experiences.
Recently, Miguel and his loyal alebrije, Dante, from Pixar’s “Coco,” joined the Mexico area of “It’s a Small World” at Disneyland Park.
An all-new live show, “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” will debut at the Disney Theater in Disney California Adventure Park on May 16, 2025.
Inspired by Disney Jr.’s Emmy Award-winning series “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” and the upcoming “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+,” this interactive show is created for young children. It features upbeat original songs and appearances by beloved characters.
