The president, trustees, faculty, and graduating class of White Earth Tribal & Community College have invited the community to the 2025 Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 15, in Mahnomen, Minnesota.

Earlier in May, in response to the Maricopa Community College District canceling all convocations for its graduating students, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Council organized a ceremony for all 2025 Native American graduates from the Maricopa Community College District. The council generously covered all costs for the event.

The 2025 American Indian Convocation celebrated Native graduates from Maricopa Community Colleges.

Hosted by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick on May 2nd, the event marked a special occasion to honor graduates’ achievements and create lasting memories for their families and community members.

It was a powerful celebration of Native excellence, resilience, and educational success.

Additionally, the American Indian Higher Education Consortium shared a post congratulating the 2025 Tribal College and University graduates for their accomplishments and wishing them success in their future endeavors.

The graduates represented several tribal colleges and universities, including the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, Iḷisaġvik College, the College of The Muscogee Nation, Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College, Stone Child College, Aaniiih Nakoda College, Diné College, Fort Peck Community College, Haskell Indian Nations University, Haskell Student Success Center, Little Big Horn College, United Tribes Technical College, and Little Priest Tribal College.

The American Indian Higher Education Consortium plans to celebrate more Tribal College and University graduations throughout May and June.
