San Diego State University announced that over 12,000 degree candidates had the opportunity to participate in commencement ceremonies at both SDSU and SDSU Imperial Valley.

Popular degrees included Business Administration, which focused on Information Systems; Liberal Studies, with a concentration in Elementary Education; Kinesiology, with a Pre-Physical Therapy emphasis; Computer Science; and Psychology.

On May 10, the University of Texas at Austin celebrated its 142nd University-Wide Commencement Ceremony, marking the largest event in the institution’s history, with thousands attending to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the Class of 2025.

Earlier in the week, individual ceremonies honored graduates from each of the university’s 17 degree-granting colleges and schools.

More than 11,000 graduates were recognized at the event, including approximately 7,968 undergraduate students, 2,472 graduate students, 350 doctoral students, 319 law students, and 45 new doctors from Dell Medical School.

Florida State University President Richard McCullough congratulated the largest graduating class in history during the spring ceremonies held on May 3.

Florida State celebrated the achievements of more than 7,100 students who earned nearly 9,000 degrees. The six commencement ceremonies occurred just over two weeks after a tragic incident on campus.

According to Arizona State University, more than 21,000 undergraduate and graduate students are earning their degrees this May — the largest class in ASU history. Their degrees range from engineering to sustainability to public service and health. Of that total, approximately 7,300 are graduating with a master’s degree, Juris Doctorate, or PhD.

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley has announced it will recognize over 3,200 prospective graduates during its Spring 2025 Commencement on May 16-17. The two-day event will feature four ceremonies celebrating graduates by their respective academic colleges.
