Colleges celebrate graduates and future leaders

In May, Florida Atlantic University celebrated its largest graduating class in history, with over 3,600 students joining the alum family. 

The Spring 2024 ceremonies took place on May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium in the Student Union, and were webcast live.

Boricua College, which aims to serve the educational needs of Puerto Ricans, Latino-Hispanic, and other underrepresented higher-education students, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. 

Their 48th commencement was held on May 17th at The Riverside Church in New York.

At Hunter College in New York, President Ann Kirschner conferred degrees to the graduating Class of 2024 during the 227th Commencement Ceremony on June 4th. 

City University of New York (CUNY) Chancellor Félix Matos Rodríguez was also present at the ceremony. 

Judge Carlton W. Reeves, the commencement speaker, encouraged the graduating class to continue defying the odds together. 

Hunter College has a strong tradition of producing leaders in various fields.
