In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute will present Medallion of Excellence awards to Jorge Ramos and Michele Bobadilla.
“We are honored to recognize and celebrate these two trailblazers whose extraordinary careers, civic leadership, and community service have so greatly impacted our Latino community,” CHCI said.
Jorge Ramos will receive a “Medallion for Excellence in the Arts, Entertainment, Media, Music, and Sports” and Michele Bobadilla will be presented with the “American Dream Medallion of Excellence in Education, Science, Medicine, or Civil Rights.”
CHCI’s mission is to develop the next generation of Latino Leaders while gaining high visibility and access to CHCI’s prestigious network of leaders and changemakers.
The 41st Annual Awards Gala will take place September 13, 2018, in Washington, D.C.
