The University of South Florida (USF) recently mobilized campus efforts for Hurricane Helene’s recovery.

One fraternity, Kappa Sigma, organized nearly 50 brothers to assist flooded families.

Sigma Chi and other Greek chapters also helped affected families.

USF student-athletes and the University of Florida Gators Experience team cleaned up Ben T Davis Beach.

The USF Community Emergency Response Team provided resources and assistance to those affected by Hurricane Helene.

The USF Medical Response Unit cared for over 120 people at the Erwin Special Needs Shelter.

Facilities Services and Housing and Residential Education teams worked to assess damage and clear debris.

Despite classes resuming, USF recognizes that some community members are still affected by the hurricane.
