Middle school students, high school students, undergraduate, and graduate students have been invited to submit research presentations for the 2020 American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES) National Conference. According to the announcement released this week, the closing date for completed research presentation abstracts in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) is September 1.
AISES said that during the submission stage, presenters will be asked questions regarding permission to record presentations and presenting remotely.
The organization also said that though it is planning for an in-person conference in Spokane, Washington, October 15-17, AISES is working to determine all possible options for this year’s conference because of the COVID-19 pandemic and any potential impact it may have.
Options include hosting a virtual conference or a hybrid in-person/virtual conference. All research presentations will be held on Friday, October 16. Click here to read more.
