The New College of Florida’s Master’s in Applied Data Science program received nearly $98,000 in grant funding from the USDA for paid internships in 2025.
The program uses data science and AI to address challenges in agriculture and environmental science.
New College was also recognized by the Heritage Foundation as a top university for promoting freedom, opportunity, and open academic inquiry while maintaining ideological balance.
