Immigrants or children of immigrants in the United States are encouraged to apply for the Running of the Bulls Scholarship. The program is designed to help tomorrow’s promising leaders meet today’s education expenses. The application deadline is June 1, which marks the beginning of Immigrant Heritage Month in the United States.
According to Running of the Bulls Inc., their goal is to promote the San Fermin Festival and facilitate access to travel services throughout the Pamplona region of Spain. The scholarship is granting an award of $1,000 for the upcoming academic year.
To be eligible for the scholarship award, candidates must be attending a 4-year college program or accepted to a 4-year program or attending a graduate program within the U.S. All candidates must provide a current transcript reflecting a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit a 1,500-2,000-word essay based on the following topic: “How will my life change because of my college/university education?”
