Michael Sayman, a young entrepreneur and software expert, who was hired by Mark Zuckerberg at the age of 17, recently visited Peru for a cycle of talks on Technology for Everyone.
Sayman spoke at different cultural institutions in Peru.
During his tour, he shared tips for entrepreneurs and discussed opportunities offered by the technological world.
Sayman is also the author of the best-selling book “App Kid” and recently launched a new startup called Friendly Apps, aimed at helping people connect to their mental health and physical wellbeing in a friendly way.
The company reportedly raised seed funding from investors including BoxGroup, Weekend Fund, and others.
In total, the startup received a round of $3 million, with investors from Snap, TikTok, Instagram, Meta, Google, Tesla, and others.
The company aims to change the way social media products are designed to focus on retention first, to the detriment of mental health.
After meticulous refinement over a year, we're on the cusp of a major TestFlight release of Friendly App 2.
We're opening up beta access first to those looking to make a transformative improvement in their mental & physical well-being.
