Karl Gouverneur is head of digital innovation and chief technology officer at Northwestern Mutual. He has served in this position since Oct 2006.
Gouverneur is responsible for the company’s digital innovation programs leading to new business ventures, digital collaboration and workplace products plus all employee digital experiences.
Last year, Northwestern Mutual received the Digital Edge 50 2017 Award, recognizing the mutual company’s use of Hackathons, and tiger application development teams.
In 2016, Northwestern Mutual also won the Gartner Eye on Innovation Award for Most Innovative Digital Model.
