California State University, Long Beach has announced it will celebrate graduates at in-person and in socially distanced ceremonies from Friday, May 28 to Monday, May 31. According to Cal State Long Beach, each college will host its own two-hour ceremony with separate degree conferrals for the Class of 2020 and Class of 2021.
The College of Engineering ceremony will be held on May 28, and the College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics on May 31. All the colleges, including the College of the Arts, College of Business, College of Education, College of Health & Human Services, and the College of Liberal Arts will have micro stages throughout the Angel Stadium parking lot for photo opportunities, the announcement said.
The recognition stages are where graduates will hear their name announced and see their graduate slide displayed along with their guests. Click here for more information.

Cal State Long Beach was ranked No. 1 in the nation for its impact in driving social mobility, according to a ranking published by a think tank and advocacy organization for the American public education system.
