This past Sunday, the University of Texas in El Paso held its final Commencement ceremony with 750 summer graduates and winter candidates from the colleges of Engineering and Science. According to UTEP, all told, nearly 19,000 family members and friends filled the UTEP Don Haskins Center to celebrate the achievements of the new graduates.
More than 2,450 summer and winter graduates earned their degrees during four commencement ceremonies held Dec. 14, and Dec. 15.
The total count includes more than 750 summer graduates and winter candidates from the colleges of Engineering and Science, 500 summer graduates and winter candidates from the College of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing, 550 graduates and candidates from the colleges of Business Administration and Education, and more than 700 graduates and candidates from the College of Liberal Arts.
