Great Minds in STEM (GMiS) has announced its scholarship portal is open and accepting applications through April 30. To apply for the GMiS STEM Scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited two-year or four-year college/university in the U.S. or its territories.
Applicants must be of Hispanic descent and must demonstrate leadership within the community. Students selected as scholarship recipients will be notified, by email, in August. Click here for more information on the GMiS STEM Scholarship.

The Artemio G. Navarro Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship administered by Great Minds in STEM for graduating high school seniors of Salesian High School, which is located in the Boyle Heights community of East Los Angeles, California.
The scholarship provides $2,000 to eligible students interested in pursuing a STEM or health-related degree at an accredited four-year university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico. Scholarship application closes at 11:59 PM PST. on April 1.
As part of the online application process, applicants must complete a minimum of 20 volunteer hours, during their senior year (Summer 2022 – Spring 2023) working with the elderly at a senior living center or hospital, or working with persons with disability at a disability center, school, or hospital.
